Our Mission
Our mission at Murphy Motorsports is to share the love we have for racing. It doesn't matter
if it has two wheels or four - if it's fast, these boys want in!

It's also important to us to share our experiences with the community and fellow racers and
most importantly we want to spread the word about our local racing events to help keep our local tracks alive.

Our team
scott murphy
Owner & Driver
Scott Murphy started Murphy Motorsports in 2016. Call it an early mid-life crisis, but he decided for his 30th birthday, he needed to purchase a racecar.
​
Having raced most of his life, Scott gave it up to start a family. It's difficult to manage a career, a family and a very time consuming sport, such as racing. Eventually things calmed down and he realized he was missing that "spark". He now had a three year old at home who was all things car obsessed and wanted to share that passion with him.
​
On his 30th birthday, "Wilma" was delivered. Scott raced locally the first year, mostly at Stateline Speedway and occasionally at Raceway Park (rip). The following year he joined the Northwest Mini Stock Tour where he gained a lot experience, raced all over the Pacific Northwest and more importantly, gained some really great friends.
​
Fast forward five years, there's now two car obsessed Murphy children and a pro late model taking up a lot of time and space in the garage - but it's all been worth it.

carsyn murphy
DRIVER - AGE 11
We knew at an early age that Carsyn would become the second car obsessed Murphy in our household. At two years old, he insisted on lifting the front of his power wheel off the ground so he could "fix it". He has turned that obsession into a passion and it's been the greatest thing to watch.
​
Carsyn started his first year of Bandolero racing at 8 years old. His first season started off rocky. He was a little slower than the field and as tiny as these cars are, they are challenging. That didn't stop his drive or determination.
​
His first full season of Bandolero racing, at age 9, Carsyn got third place for the season. He started his trophy collection, and we are quickly running out of space!

DRIVER - AGE 6
Tiny but Mighty. Connor is just starting out in his racing career at just 6 years old. He's racing go karts locally and in Moses Lake. We are so excited to see what fierce little guy can accomplish.
